OIO LAB was founded by Joanna Ryglewicz in 2018. Whilst training to be a lawyer, Joanna developed a passion for skincare and the science around pharmaceutical skincare brands. This passion turned into her first business, which she embarked on with her husband, after long days at the law firm.

As her portfolio as an entrepreneur grew, Joanna knew there was one thing missing. A skincare range that is not only effective but also authentically expresses her values and her attitude towards the world we live in.

As a self-confessed ‚science nerd’, Joanna started mixing oils by hand to give to her friends and that’s how OIO LAB was born. Today, products are created in in-house laboratory lead by a team of certified chemists and in cooperation with pharmacognosy departments of leading life sciences and medical universities.
